Recently it’s been revealed that Shahid Kapoor is tired of the ‘single’ tag that seems to accompany him everywhere! He reveals that he wants to fall in love.

Shahid and Sonam Kapoor are shooting love scenes in a specially-designed carriage in a part of Edinburgh where no film has been shot before and with equipment, the ultra-sophisticated Jimmy Jib crane, never used in a Hindi film before.
Feeling flush with the success of I Hate Luv Storys (IHLS) – her first hit – Sonam Kapoor returned to Scotland last week to resume the shooting of Mausam with Shahid Kapoor, who had been patiently waiting for his heroine to return so they could resume their-onscreen romancing for his father’s film Mausam.
Coincidentally, a week after IHLS clicked, Shahid’s Milenge Milenge opened to a very lukewarm response. Naturally, Sonam and Shahid had a lot to say to one another during the breaks between shots about their respective films.
Except that Shahid was doing all the talking about both films.
Says a source from the unit, “Sonam and Shahid have been shooting this week at the Royal Mile which is the longest road in Edinburgh and not open to traffic, let alone film shootings. It’s a long stretch with restricted movement for locals, so that there was little intrusion from Shahid and Sonam’s Indian fans”.
Cars filled with loads of NRI fans have been arriving in Edinburgh from in and around Scotland and London to see the two stars shoot.
Says the source, “Naturally without fans hovering to take pictures and start off a conversation Shahid and Sonam were much relaxed at the mythic Royal Mile. Shahid had a field day taking potshots at his own film and congratulating Sonam for her success”.
Apparently, Shahid insisted on addressing himself as ‘Flop Hero’ and Sonam as ‘Hit Heroine’.
Says the source, “After a point, Sonam just told him to stop it. But Shahid was unstoppable”.

It was a foregone conclusion that Milenge Milenge won’t have much going for it as far as critics were concerned. When even new age love stories find quite some criticism coming their way, it was impossible for Milenge Milenge to go unscathed, more so because it was a film completed half a decade back and secondly, had its reference points in Serendipity. With the lead pair (Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor) also choosing to go mum about the film, it was all left to destiny, something which augured well with the theme of the film.
Milenge Milenge: Boring
Rating: 1.5 out of 5*
Starring: Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Aarti Chabbria, Satish Shah and Delnaz Paul
Director: Satish Kaushik
Milenge Milenge is a poor rehash of John Cussack – Kate Beckinsale starrer romantic comedy Serendipity (2001) that was about destiny bringing two lovers back together. But perhaps makers Boney Kapoor and Satish Kaushik were not as lucky to quickly encash on its success as their copy took a good seven years to come on screen. In the meanwhile a small film starring TV actor Sarwar Ahuja and veteran actress Tabassum’s granddaughter Khushi titled Hum Phirr Milein Na Milein released and flopped last year carrying the same plotline.
Milenge Milenge, the much delayed movie of Boney Kapoor, has brought a smile to his face as the satellite rights of the film have fetched Rs 8.6 crore.
It is definitely good news for the producer, who had been facing a lot of problems regarding the film. Boney signed the lead actors Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor for the film in 2004, when Shahid was only four films old.
Today, if a new film starring Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor would have been announced, it would have made a huge noise for sure. However, that is missing in case of ‘Milenge Milenge’ because the stars themselves are not quite leading from the front for the film’s promotion. Shahid Kapoor is in UK shooting for ‘Mausam’ while Kareena Kapoor is off to Morocco to complete a quick schedule for ‘Agent Vinod’. Incidentally, both these films are their home productions.
As per the promos running across channels, the makers of this film are hell bent on bringing Shahid and Kareena back together with its ‘Forgive and Forget’ theme.
Whether they will ‘meet’ in ‘real’ life is their personal call but will the film ‘meet’ people’s expectations?
Saif avoided cameras and paparazzi pictures until his departure to Morocco this week in order to avoid giving away his Agent Vinod look.
But man proposes, Aamir disposes. Aamir insisted that Saif make it to the party at his home last weekend, thereby blowing the whistle on Saif’s carefully-concealed look.
Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor, who has been staying away from his estranged mother Neelima for many years, has patched up with her. The reason is Shahid’s dog , Kaizer, sounds very weird! Isn’t it?
It is reported that the actor was not even on talking terms with his mother. Recently, when Shahid had to leave for Scotland to shoot for his father Pankaj Kapoor’s film Mausam, he had asked his mother to look after his pet, Kaizer. Now, the pooch is living with Neelima and she is taking good care of it.
