Media reports had stated that producer Ramesh Taurani’s sequel to ‘Race’ titled ‘Race 2′ will go on floors early next year with Saif Ali Khan and Anil Kapoor playing the main lead. The sequel will be directed by duo Abbas-Mastan, who were the directors of ‘Race’ as well.

But, the latest buzz that is now making the rounds is that the film will not be going on floors until July or August. The major reason being, a big celebration in the Taurani family.

According to our source, “Ramesh Taurani is busy making arrangements for the wedding bells of his beloved daughter Jaya, which will happen in Sri Lanka probably in July- August. Hence, the film will only go on floors once he is done with the special occasion.”
