No doubt Rani Mukherjee, Tinselville’s Queen Bee, has seen a lot of ups and downs, highs and lows in her career right from her debut making film Salim Aftab’s ‘Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat’ to her last released Yash Raj film’s ‘Dil Bole Haddippa’, after having overcome all the hazards and the hurdles of her personal life too.
Vidya Balan and Rani Mukerji had to shoot in old Delhi’s crowded areas for No One Killed Jessica. But how could that possibly happen without a mob surrounding them when Rani and Vidya are both such popular names?
Director of the film, Rajkumar Gupta, who earlier made the Rajeev Khandelwal starrer Aamir, wanted to shoot the film on real lanes with hidden cameras. He wanted to shoot Vidya and Rani as part of the crowd to give an authentic feel to the film.
Rani Mukerji and Aditya Chopra have never confirmed their relationship in public. Sure, they’ve been rumoured to be dating for years now but neither of them ever discussed it. In fact, Rani has always denied it and Aditya hardly makes public appearances, so he naturally prefers to keep his private life quiet. But all lies and pretence went out of the window when they appeared together for a party last Wednesday.
The party was to celebrate the birthday of Karan Johar’s mother, Hiroo Johar. It was held at a South Mumbai hotel and was attended by just a few close friends. Aditya was an important guest in the party and he chose to bring along Rani Mukerji, who these days, is sighted about only as much as Aditya is.
On the shoot of Karan Johar’s show, Lift Kara De, Rani Mukherji was the only celebrity who showed how humble she is. She had got along a bowl of kheer that was cooked by her mother Krishna Mukherji, unlike the other stars who came earlier.
She didn’t just bring the kheer, she even fed it to her fan personally on the sets of the show. The actress expressed that her fans meant a lot to her. She admitted that each time she feels low; she reads her fan mail, which always cheers her up.

For some reason Rani Mukherjee has gone back to her old style – looking dull and less glamorous. Probably Laaga Chunari Mein Daag has hit her real hard. Even her forthcoming Kunal Kohli movie Thoda Pyar and Thoda Magic looks lackluster. Probably it is aimed at kids. Anyways, I like to see Rani Mukherjee in her hot Chalte Chalte style.

After a brilliant show in Black, Rani Mukherjee has planned to experiment yet another time. This time, Rani Mukherjee will be seen in just one costume in Kunal Kohli’s next movie. The costume will be designed by Bollywood’s leading fashion designer, Manish Malhotra. Rani Mukherjee will also undergo a complete makeover for the movie. Rani, try to wash your dress every day….or else … no one will be able to shoot with you.
I think Yash Raj has lost it. Except an odd Chak De, all their recent movies are hopeless. Laaga Chunari Mein Daag is another disaster. I was expecting a good movie by Parineeta director, Pradeep Sarkar, but he disappoints big time. If it was not for Rani Mukherjee, Laaga Chunari Mein Daag is unwatchable. Critics are unanimous in dismissing Laaga Chunari Mein Daag.

We simply adore Rani Mukherjee for her simplicity. Rani looked so simple and sexy in Amul Voice of India show that participants were speechless. Well, eventually they did sing.
