Madhur Bhandarkar is known for his dramatic cinema with a realistic touch and a social message in each of his film. The films like Chandni Bar, Page 3, Corporate, Traffic Signal and Fashion have proved this once and again.

But, this time Madhur is ready to surprise the viewers as he is trying hands at comedy. The film will be titled Dil Toh Bachcha Hai Ji and will be releasing sometime in 2011. Madhur had signed Neil and Mugdha as the lead pair for the film. But as suggestions are coming that he should make it a big budget film, he has also signed Emraan Hashmi and Ajay Devgan.

After a rigorous crash-course in taekwondo in Bangkok, Neil Nitin Mukesh not only performed the martial arts for the camera, he also directed the action scenes for himself.

A sure sign of this young actor’s progression towards his ultimate goal; direction. In fact Neil’s mentor Yashraj Films, have already reserved the rights verbally to launch Neil as a director.

Laughs the young actor, “That is some way off. But yes, I do plan to direct my own film some day, and not in the distant future. In the meanwhile, I am here in Bangkok and I’ve directed all the stunts for an ad we shot for Gen- X innerwear. You could say my career as a director has started.”
