Irfan Khan’s Loss

Irfan is an international actor. Madholal Keep Walking was offered to Irfan but he didn’t respond. Finally the producer turned to Bengali film superstar Subrat Dutta.

One of the amazing things happened in Cairo Film festival when Madholal Keep Walking’s screening was held and Madhur Bhandarkar, Irfan, and Jay Tank were together. They appreciated the film.

Jay’s happiness had no limits when Subrat Dutta received the best actor’s award. Irfan acknowledged the acting and the film pretty well.

Can Shahrukh Make Billu Barber Work?

Shahrukh Khan’s next release is Priyadarshan directed Billu Barber. But if you think that he is the hero of the movie, you are absolutely wrong. Shahrukh Khan will be seen in an extended guest role in few scenes and shaking his legs for couple of item songs with his favorite ladies Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra. Well, he does more than that because he is also the producer.

Movie Review: Slumdog Millionaire

Well this may not be technically a Bollywood film but anybody who watches it will only notice two differences – that the characters start speaking in English halfway through the film and that it’s actually something worth watching!

Slumdog Millionaire doesn’t try to act westernized like all other films in Bollywood are trying to do. It is a complete Hindi film with a raw Indian feel to it. Nothing is glamorized. The slums in Mumbai are shown exactly as they are.
