Bollywood at Zee Cine Awards 2008

Zee Cine Awards 2008 was held at Excel Docklands, London, on 26^th April, and to grace the occasion, the entire Bollywood was present.

Zee Cine Awards was no different from the earlier awards held this year as Shahrukh Khan won the best actor award for Chak De India, Kareena Kapoor, best actress for Jab We Met, Aamir Khan, best director for Taare Zameen Par and Adiya Chopra, best film for Chak De India. Kareena Kapoor, Neha Dhupia and Katrina Kaif put up a sizzling performance on stage. Bollywood celebrities who attended the awards includes Saif Ali Khan with girlfriend Kareena Kapoor, Zayed Khan, Karan Johar, Imtiaz Ali, Neel Nitin Mukesh, Govinda, Sharman Joshi, Upen Patel, Anupama Verma, Simi Grewal, Lara Dutta, Fardeen Khan, Ritesh Deshmukh, Raima Sen, Deepika Padukone, Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Shilpa Shetty, Karishma Kapoor, Shaan, Sophie, Diya Mirza and Raveena Tandon.

No doubts, Kareena Kapoor deserves it for Jab We Met.

Best Actor (male): Shah Rukh Khan

It’s good to see SRK winning an award for something meaningful, because normally he wins only for his usual ‘lover boy’ roles in sugar coated romantic tear-jerkers.
