DDD Goal’s music is below Average

Star Cast - John Abraham, Bipasha Basu
Music Director - Pritam
Billo Rani – Album starts off with a mujra sung by Richa Sharma and … Anand Raj Anand???? Now before going any further, arent you all wondering who is this Billo? Where did she come from? Why are there so many songs about her?
Billo has to be the most famous name in showbiz ever. So much so that I decided to do some research on the origins of Billo and where and when she got started. Not much info can be found on this famous yet unknown person but here is what I got so far:
In 1995, a Pakistani school teacher named Abrar Ul Haq decided to release a music album called “Billo De Ghar” (school teachers releasing music albums?? It happens only in Pakistan). With lines like “How many of you want to go to Billo’s house”, some interoperations of the song say that “Billo” is a prostitute. This would turn out to be one of the biggest hits ever in Pakistan. Billo was born!
During this time period this song was on every guy’s lips and every girl named Billo was harassed.
Now nobody names their child Billo in Pakistan.
And oh yeah, this Billo Rani song tries hard but is JUST OKAY.
Ishq Ka Kalma – This is supposed to be the chartbuster of the album. Unfortunately that it is not. It is nothing more than a mix of many previous songs composed by Pritam. And it even has a little bit of Heyy Babyy in there (in the beginning). Whenever the line “rock my world - rock my world” is played, I keep expecting the next line to rhyme. But it never does. NOT BAD
Hey Dude Don’t Mess With Me – This song tries extremely hard to be cool – a little too hard. And we all know what happens to people who try too hard to be cool. NOT WORKING!
Halla Bol – This song is the motivational sports song of the movie. But if you want to listen to a motivational sports song then listen to the Chak De India title song. Compared to that this song is TRASH.
Tara Ru – Listen to this song closely – the singer (Javed Ali) is trying to make some very valid and serious points about himmat, vishvaas, jeet, etc. But every now and then he says Tara Ru Ra Re because I guess he doesn’t really want to be taken seriously. HORRIBLE
3 OUT OF 10 (Only Billo and Ishq Ka Kalma are worth a try)
