Although both Sonam Kapoor and Imran Khan were lauded for their work in their debut movies, I don’t see them go too far. Probably they will be there for another half a dozen movies, and slowly disappear from the screens and our memory.

Is 2009 Unlucky for SRK?

Well, well, things are not exactly going good for the King of Bollywood. Shahrukh Khan’s last movie Billu Barber bombed big time at the box office, and now his cricket team Kolkata Knight Riders performed so badly at the recently concluded IPL that they cannot be even compared to any other bad performing team. His contract with Pepsi was cancelled as they wanted young stars like Ranbir Kapoor.

I have seen quite a few pictures of Abhishek Bachchan in similar poses, so this is not shocking for me. I guess Shilpa Shetty must be feeling proud after seeing this picture in the newspaper thinking that she has done a fair job keeping her everything in perfect shape.

Movie Review: Stoneman Murders

I, being the crime solving/detective drama fan that I am, decided to give this movie a try. Bollywood continues making small steps towards what will eventually be that all around great detective film, but for now we have to settle for movies such as this.

Don’t get me wrong – Stoneman Murders is a pretty engrossing film. It will keep you entertained almost throughout. But where do all Bollywood films falter?? You guessed it – at the end.

Movie Review: Delhi 6

Delhi-6 is made by the acclaimed director of Aks(one of my favorites) and Rang De Basanti, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, so I decided to catch the movie first day first show.

The movie is based on the ‘Monkey Man’ who was haunting the residents of Delhi some years back. I won’t bore you by revealing the story, so here is my take on the cast:
