Do we really need to say anything about him? He is starting to reach a level which no star in any country has ever reached. He is the biggest super star in Bollywood and he knows it. Om Shanti Om was nothing more than a tribute to this living legend (especially the Dewaangi song) and you can see the results. The film is on its way to becoming the biggest hit of all times. Amazing! |

Akshay has come a long way. He started off as looking like a big haired flop actor who came to the film industry not to get fame but to raise enough money so he could get a decent hair cut. Those days are gone now as the new Akshay not only has a sexy haircut every movie but it seems like all his movies are hits. Whether it be Bhool Bhulaaiya, Namaste London, or Heyy Babyy, quietly but surely, Akshay is bagging hit after hit. |

He has always acted well in his films but unfortunately the films have not done well. It was great to see Jab We Met be as successful as it was. His acting was marvelous in it and from all the young guns in Bollywood today we expect him to have the best chance of super stardom in the future! |

Kareena can be brilliant in films. But then she can also be annoying and over the top. Watching Kareena films is sometimes like being on a roller coaster ride. Despite this we cannot complain because she is the sexiest actress of 2007. The face, the dancing, and the acting - “it’s rocking!”. |

Rani may not be a beauty goddess like the others on the list, but she is definitely one of the prettiest. When it comes to acting she arguably is the most versatile actress. Despite 2007 being a down year for her she will without a doubt be back in 2008. It would be nice to see her come in a Yash Raj film with SRK! Rumors are floating in the media that Aditya Chopra has casted Rani Mukherjee, Preity Zinta and Shahrukh Khan in his next movie - We hope they are true. But somebody needs to give her some Vicks VapoRub kyun ke lagta hai bechaari ka galla khraab hai 24/7! |

Debut film - SRK as the hero - Biggest hit of the year. Life is good for Deepika as she has accomplished in one movie what many cannot do in a lifetime. Not only did she show some acting talent, but she is one hot babe who has the audiences as well as the cricketers drooling over her. We look forward to seeing the extremely sexy Deepika in more films in 2008 as well as in Levi Strauss Jeans commercials! Aisa jaadu kiya ke ab hum ads bhi dekhne lag gaye…… |

In 2006 we were seeing this hot mirchi in every other movie it seems. But now in 2007 she is nowhere to be found. It seems her golden run is over. But we still do have a small bit of hope that she will return to her glory in the coming year with Drona and Love Story 2050. Especially considering that she performed very well in a lot of those movies in 2006 (which is now remembered as the “Year of the Himesh”, just kidding! ). |
Some of the top names like Abhishek Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan, Aamir Khan, John Abraham, Preity Zinta, Amrita Rao, Aishwarya Rai, Bipasha Basu couldn’t make it to the list. They were out because their movies flopped, they did not have any release, or they weren’t good enough to beat the ones in the list.

@rishad - you have a point but aamir khan is not a mainstream actor now. He is doing 1 movie every 2-3 years and in 2007 he did not have any releases…until now with TZP

@A.Haseeb….Vidya Balan was definitely very good in Bhool Bhulaiyya, but we have not seen enough from her to say she is a top actress….yet.

govinda also doesn’t deserve top 5 actor list.
