Prateik’s hopes to shoot for Rohan Sippy’s film, Dum Maro Dum anytime soon have been crushed. The young actor landed in Goa this week excitedly only to be diagnosed with chickenpox. He now has to stay confined to his room and cannot shoot for the film for a while.

Prateik suddenly started to feel uneasy on the sets. When the doctors were called, he was found to have contracted chickenpox. Because it is a contagious disease, he has to stay away from the rest of the people and the shooting schedule had to be changed.

Although a few days of the shoot were cancelled, the team is now back to work and the remaining cast, which includes Bipasha Basu and Rana Daggubati, are all in Goa and are shooting for their scenes. Rohan has asked Prateik to rest and will shoot his scenes once the actor is fine again.

Prateik still expressed a desire to shoot but Rohan couldn’t allow that and postponed the shoot for two days. According to doctors, Prateik should be fine in a few days’ time.
