Boman Irani becomes the Brand Ambassador of the NGO ‘AHEAD’

The versatile actor Boman Irani has a new mission in hand. The entrepreneur turned actor will now become the face of the NGO ‘AHEAD’ which believes in theatre for a purpose and entertainment for a meaning. Boman was present at the press conference of the same at The Leela’s on the 6th of August to show his strong association for the development of the disable people.

At the conference Boman declared that there will be a fund raiser through a theatre performance which will be held on the 8th at Manik Sabhagriha in Bandra. The play ‘The Melody of Love’has veteran Tom Alter, Lillette Dubey, RJ Mantra and India’s only National and Presidential award winner Divya Arora.

Divya who herself is disabled physically is the sole of the organization. Divya feels that a lot of false commitments have been given for the development and well being of the disables but nothing constructive has been done. This step of making Mr. Irani as the Brand Ambassador of the organization is giving a ray of hope she feels.When asked why she chose Mr. Irani she was quick to reply, “Boman is very human. He is not only multitalented but also multifaceted. Most importantly he is self made. Boman Irani also has the power to influence change. He is a very approachable person with a human heart.”

Boman who has the experience of acting in a theatre feels,” Today the audience has become very progressive they enjoy theatre equally as compared to cinema. In fact theatre is not only entertaining but also educative. People feel that my voice is inspiring and reaches the audience. That gives me the boost to come forward for such good deeds.”
