Amitabh Bachchan trusts Indian doctors and Medication over the West
Amitabh Bachchan is always ready to support any social cause even at the last minute intimation. This time He took the privilege of being present as the chief guest in an event. The event was marked by the handing over of an ambulance to Bethany Trust by State Bank of Travancore.
” I feel honored and privileged to be associated for a sensitive cause. Our medical science needs to be improved. We have talented Indian Doctors when compared to the West. We have ample of talent and expertise what we lack is funds. I totally believe in the Indian medical facilities and the doctors here in India serve us to the best of their abilities. I am more so aware of the fact because I have been to the ICU many-a-times, in the recent past. Majorly it is for our talented and brilliant doctors, I refuse to be medicated in any other country. I particularly trust and feel comfortable with our Indian doctors.” expresses, the icon of the human race.
He further adds on a lighter note,” I was approached by a senior journalist who has been an upright and a sincere journalist. It was for her son-in-law so I could not refuse. As I am aware of our Indian culture we need to keep our sons-in-law always happy. Nothing is more important to our son in law.” Way to go Amitji.
The most important feature of this ambulance which will be located in Thane hospital belonging to Bethany Trust is that, the ambulance will carry patients to and fro to any hospitals free of cost. SBT has plans to serve the societies with medical facilities all over the country.
