Second, even if it were true - can you blame the producers? Getting one of those "tens of thousands" of new faces will not get any producer a hit film. But on the other hand having a well known cricket player in a movie will get the publicity a film needs. Shoaib Akhtar is ofcourse not going to a be a good actor but the hype and curiosity associated with him being in the film may be enough to make the film a success...and that is all the producers (especially the smaller banners) need! @ Raj - First of all, this is believed to be just a rumor.
