Mr. RGV, it’s high time you stop making movies
As if RGV ki Aag was not enough in scaring the hell out of us, Ram Gopal Verma is directing two more movies. Yeah, it really scared many. A friend of mine, who is a huge RGV fan, went to watch it on the first day of its release, in spite of my warnings, and was so scared that he ran out of the theatre 30 min into the movie. Well, he was all alone in the entire cinema hall. Probably people thought that there was a big Aag (fire) in the cinema hall; or maybe they had seen his earlier movies – Nishabd and Shiva.
I know that you must be eagerly waiting for me to inform you about Ramu’s new movies (here ‘you’ refers to RGV because as far as I know nobody would even think of watching his movies after Aag). So it would be an underworld epic titled Contract with newcomers. Guys, get ready for the next Nisha Kotharis and Mohit Ahlawats. We really have a huge shortage of such talent in Bollywood. And the other movie he is directing is Sarkar Raj with Amitabh Bacchan, Abhishek Bacchan and Aishwarya Rai. The first installment was a decent attempt, but I’m quite sure that he will make sure to prove that the first installment, Sarkar, was just a fluke.
If you are still interested in Ram Gopal Verma and his future projects, here is his interview where he speaks about his future projects and says, ‘High time I stopped talking stupidly’.
