I think Aamir is justified in refusing to do sharukhs Om Shanti Om as we all know Shahrukh is a master manipulator and media savvy person. All he is doing is ensuring his movie does well. he hardly respects or acknowledges his co-stars. Remember him teasing Aamir and earlier Hrithik.

the comparison made is not justified as both have big hits under their belts…..

If you are here and trying to tell the world that Aamir is not an actor I think , You better off in this blog. Becuase you have no sense that what you are saying. Let me tell you the story. All the major famous and legend actors said about aamir khan , that he is today Gurru Dutt or Dilip Kumar. This is not my words. This is what other Greate actors says about him. Take a look Kofee with Karan , Randhir Kapoor said , According to me Aamir is a great actor and I am seeing him in future Greater then Dilip Kumar or Raj Kapoor. Shah Rukh is popular but remember there is a defference between ACTOR and STAR. Shah Rukh Khan is a Star not an Actor , Aamir Khan is an Actor and he is also supper Star. You all bring up good points but why are you mentioning egos and attitudes? Some say Aamir is a dignified man and Shah Rukh is an egotistical maniac. Then why has Shah Rukh been loyal to his wife all these years while Aamir has gone through a handful of women? On the other hand, some say that Shah Rukh is so admirable and Aamir has an ego. Then why over the years has Aamir become noticeably more charismatic than Shah Rukh? I’m a guy and I can see that.

The fact is that at least 1/4 of the entire world (more than 1.5 billion people) knows who both Shah Rukh and Aamir are as their lives are featured in a constant spotlight. Everyone, including them, goes through good and bad times in their personal lives.

What message would I be sending if I were to say that some of you really need to learn some English before you blog again? I don’t know you well enough to know if you are 5 years old, or dislexic, or never learned English, or are just bad at English. Likewise, we don’t know all the personal details of these two superstars.

The truth is that SRK and Aamir are good, if not great people. Look at movies like Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, Lagaan, and Tare Zameen Par. They have touched the lives of millions.

If you want to compare who is the better actor at a particular time, then look at the box office revenue for their movies. But deep down, you know it doesn’t matter when you hear a new Shah Rukh or Aamir movie is to release because you know you’ll be there with your bag of popcorn and large beverage, hoping for another magical movie.

wrt acting i think no one can compete SRK.i give my useful time to enjoy the movie which is possible if actor doing good acting.
If you release one movie after 1 or 2 year then definitly you(everyone) will be good like Amir but if you do acting in movies at rate of 2 or 3 per year then it become impossible to be good and no 1 which Shah G doing.We do,t need your personla life except the fun and enjoyment.

It is really interesting to see some people trying to show off their english, as this is a blog not a fr….kin english assignment. Secondly I have been a Die hard Aamir fan, i have collected every movie he ever made or acted in it. its true i also have some SRK movies too. Another word to Mr Editor name me all the movies SRK made? i will be glad to see you list them all from heard rather than going through google. I am pretty sure you havent watched most of his movies. And when in a profession of being an Editor you should think twice before going to peoples personal life. in my opinion we should let their personal life upto them. we really care about who is a better actor. From personal experience SRK usually targets young teenagers from 14 - 18 prove me wrong, Every teenage girl you ask. THEIR ANSWER IS SRK. but ask EVERY OTHER PERSON OLDER THAN 18 YOU WILL DIFFENTLY GET YOUR ANSWER (AAMIR KHAN) and now Aamir did his magic on children under 14 with Tare Zameen Par ( A MASTER PIECE). He has won Audience of every age. LETS ADMIT AAMIR HAS BEEN THE BEST FOR THE PAST 19 YEARS IN THE INDUSTRY.

You cant compare Amir to SRK, SRK is always after the fame and money, you can proof this by noticing he does advertising roles, private parties and what not, whereas amir on the other hand is strictly into this style of acting in all aspects and would always reject doing small time works to get alittle fame - that is what makes him outstanding.

Amir hits big by himself, whereas SRK hits big on the people he work for (some listed some great movies such as 3kB, mr bachan on there? Hitrik on there? jai bach? I fancied the movie more because of the Hitrik and Kaarina mix than SRK…) OSO, copy of the legendary film Karz pretty much and TRIES to make the film have more successul with getting the most actors in a single song - Wow lol. Don, another copy of the legendary film Lol. SRK gets fame from other peoples work, not his own.

Amir will become a legend in 20 yrs time, whereas SRK will probably just become another celebrity.

Awards and money doesnt matter to aamir…(like shah rukh is always craving for money and fame..) do u know????Aamir khan has distributed double remuneration from profits of lagaan to entire lagaan unit ..aamir has his own natural talent of producing great films(lagaan, taare zameen par) which can get thru oscars.. He is the one who can get extra-ordinary things from ordinary concepts..(as in Taare Zameen par)

ok friends first thing is that star and actor is completely different thing.As an actor Nasiruddin shah, Nana Patekar, Boman Irani are better than both the actor but u act for whom, for the audience, i cant really make the figure if srk is such bad actor why he enjoyed the largest fan following. I think each one of the are good in their work, I am from America and the first movie I watched was Laggan, after that Kal ho naa ho, both are good in their gendre and to evaluate his way to act we must be polite because they are doing good think that are Good for India. I think Amir is far better than Sharukh, Amir has more variety in his acting where as sharukh’s movies have all the similar acting(nothing exciting). With Amir movies like Lagaan, Fanaa, Ghulam, Mugahl Pandey, these potray a Amir that more versatile and IMO is unmatchable/unbeatable. I love Amir he is more compatible and reads his scripts carefully before taking up any movie and makes the right choices, he started doing this before Sharukh and other actors even thought about it. He is always a step ahead of Sharukh, He has progressed his career with directing/producing where as Sharukh still thinks hes young chap….doh!. However Amir had conections in the film industry and thus became an actor where as Sharukh had to work his way up, he has done well for himself, but he will never be a better actor than Amir.

I heard comedy is hardest part in acting career being a versatile actor you need to be good in all forms.
I dont see any good comedy film done by SRK though he is good actor but he needs a good director as well as good music director to make a hit etc DWDLGG. But whenever a new director tries him he sinks him.

Watch Aamir Khan mostly he works with new directors but he got real big films with all new directors like Qayamt Se Qayamt Tak, Sarfaroosh, Lagaan, TareZameenPar (himself), Raja Hindustani (2nd of Dhermesh Dhurshan) and some other.

Every Actor should read the scripts and should not waste the money of producers.

If you take out Yash Chopra and his sons or his co directors there is nothing left in hands of SRK. Though the down to earth man but down to earth Actor.

I would like to see Hritik instead of SRK coz SRK cant be Rohit & Akbar

Shahrukh’s Performance in Devdas is end of acting skills.
About Amir’s Performances there is no comprasonion. He is Mr. Perfectionist.
they should work together.

KK you are simply Gr8. If u believe that Awards are fair than i have some serious doubts on your thinking. These days every star says the same. As far as movies you mentioned about SRK please take a look a the no of Flops. Each time SRK tried to be different he failed, each time he went for new directors he failed. I just want to say that if an actor like Dilip Kumar says that Aamir is better then all then there is no sence of discussion. Again i would like to quote what Najeeb farooqi said and what ranbir kapoor sai “According to me Aamir is a great actor and I am seeing him in future Greater then Dilip Kumar or Raj Kapoor. Shah Rukh is popular but remember there is a defference between ACTOR and STAR. Shah Rukh Khan is a Star not an Actor , Aamir Khan is an Actor and he is also supper Star” Aamir has done justice to every role, he can perform anything Comedy like Andaaz apna apna,Rangeel etc, action like Ghulam, Sarfarosh,..films like 1947 Earth and Rommantic movies like QSQT, Fanaa, Dil, Ishq…. and entirely different stuff in which every actor hesitates to be part of like TZP, Jo Jeeta wohi sikander, Lagaan, DCH, Raakh, Mangal Pandey, RDB all these movies were of unconvetional type. Look at the No of Hits Aamir Khan gave without a good heroine by his side and without a famous Director.
Srk is damn goood in Romantic movies thats it but the director should be either from Chopra or Johar families. He is good in masala movies.
Movies of aamir doesn’t need any good heroines or big banner.

I’m glad to see that a number of people support Amir Khan over Shahrukh Khan. He is truly better than SRK in what he does and most importantly, for who he is. Amir stands as a far more wittier, clever, intelligent, sincere and moral man than Shahrukh is and will ever be. A man of such caliber shows more class than SRK even though SRK is a bigger star. And, the most subtle of people would agree that Amir is simply untouchable, unbeatable and unmatchable. Although SRK is a good actor, he can never rise to the level of Amir, and the difference betwen Amir and SRK is that of gold and silver.

pls take a look on what Manoj nite Shyamalan say abt srk-”I want to work with shahrukh as i can see all the definit parametre of acting & passion of a perticular character. but still waiting for a good script to work with SRK.If i will make a hindi movie then it ll definatly hold only shahrukh.”. Even shakher kappor wants to work with srk with sm similar comments-”he is the only Actor in indian cinema who has got star power but smtimes this star power hides his abilities & his methodical nature.I really want to have SRK in my WATER ( the new movie directed by Shakher Kappor himself) as i know he is the only person who can justfy the chalanging character of the main protogonist the the movie.”

SRK was able to do a Baazigar and a Dilwale Dulhaniyaan le jaayenge with equal felicity because of his naturalness and a passion for the medium. It seemed he was more star material than actor material until he did Devdaas, Swades and Chak de india though he has done some offbeat films in the past. These three movies brought out a Shahrukh we have hitherto heard or seen on celluloid before. A Shah rukh who could present himself with poise and subtlety yet convey a myriad of emotions in every frame. A crowning glory indeed for a thoroughbred. & now by giving movis like Swadesh & Chak de India srk proves the fact that he has the skill to do evreything.

SRK n Aamir r both flawless n talented actors, but both of them have ego prob. They r both jealous of each other cuz no 1 is better than d other 1. They r just sooooooo stupid. They should feel proud of themselves n work with each other 2 learn from each other. N it would b a great miracle 2 see them on d screen together……..like a dream come true.
