I think Aamir is justified in refusing to do sharukhs Om Shanti Om as we all know Shahrukh is a master manipulator and media savvy person. All he is doing is ensuring his movie does well. he hardly respects or acknowledges his co-stars. Remember him teasing Aamir and earlier Hrithik.

You all bring up good points but why are you mentioning egos and attitudes? Some say Aamir is a dignified man and Shah Rukh is an egotistical maniac. It is really interesting to see some people trying to show off their english, as this is a blog not a fr….kin english assignment. Secondly I have been a Die hard Aamir fan, i have collected every movie he ever made or acted in it. its true i also have some SRK movies too. Another word to Mr Editor name me all the movies SRK made? i will be glad to see you list them all from heard rather than going through google. I am pretty sure you havent watched most of his movies. ok friends first thing is that star and actor is completely different thing.As an actor Nasiruddin shah, Nana Patekar, Boman Irani are better than both the actor but u act for whom, for the audience, i cant really make the figure if srk is such bad actor why he enjoyed the largest fan following. I think Amir is far better than Sharukh, Amir has more variety in his acting where as sharukh’s movies have all the similar acting(nothing exciting). With Amir movies like Lagaan, Fanaa, Ghulam, Mugahl Pandey, these potray a Amir that more versatile and IMO is unmatchable/unbeatable. I love Amir he is more compatible and reads his scripts carefully before taking up any movie and makes the right choices, he started doing this before Sharukh and other actors even thought about it. He is always a step ahead of Sharukh, He has progressed his career with directing/producing where as Sharukh still thinks hes young chap….doh!. However Amir had conections in the film industry and thus became an actor where as Sharukh had to work his way up, he has done well for himself, but he will never be a better actor than Amir.

I heard comedy is hardest part in acting career being a versatile actor you need to be good in all forms.
I dont see any good comedy film done by SRK though he is good actor but he needs a good director as well as good music director to make a hit etc DWDLGG. But whenever a new director tries him he sinks him.

Watch Aamir Khan mostly he works with new directors but he got real big films with all new directors like Qayamt Se Qayamt Tak, Sarfaroosh, Lagaan, TareZameenPar (himself), Raja Hindustani (2nd of Dhermesh Dhurshan) and some other.

Every Actor should read the scripts and should not waste the money of producers.

If you take out Yash Chopra and his sons or his co directors there is nothing left in hands of SRK. Though the down to earth man but down to earth Actor.

KK you are simply Gr8. If u believe that Awards are fair than i have some serious doubts on your thinking. These days every star says the same. As far as movies you mentioned about SRK please take a look a the no of Flops. Each time SRK tried to be different he failed, each time he went for new directors he failed. I just want to say that if an actor like Dilip Kumar says that Aamir is better then all then there is no sence of discussion. Again i would like to quote what Najeeb farooqi said and what ranbir kapoor sai “According to me Aamir is a great actor and I am seeing him in future Greater then Dilip Kumar or Raj Kapoor. Shah Rukh is popular but remember there is a defference between ACTOR and STAR. Shah Rukh Khan is a Star not an Actor , Aamir Khan is an Actor and he is also supper Star” Aamir has done justice to every role, he can perform anything Comedy like Andaaz apna apna,Rangeel etc, action like Ghulam, Sarfarosh,..films like 1947 Earth and Rommantic movies like QSQT, Fanaa, Dil, Ishq…. and entirely different stuff in which every actor hesitates to be part of like TZP, Jo Jeeta wohi sikander, Lagaan, DCH, Raakh, Mangal Pandey, RDB all these movies were of unconvetional type. Look at the No of Hits Aamir Khan gave without a good heroine by his side and without a famous Director.
Srk is damn goood in Romantic movies thats it but the director should be either from Chopra or Johar families. He is good in masala movies.

I’m glad to see that a number of people support Amir Khan over Shahrukh Khan. He is truly better than SRK in what he does and most importantly, for who he is. Amir stands as a far more wittier, clever, intelligent, sincere and moral man than Shahrukh is and will ever be. A man of such caliber shows more class than SRK even though SRK is a bigger star. And, the most subtle of people would agree that Amir is simply untouchable, unbeatable and unmatchable. SRK was able to do a Baazigar and a Dilwale Dulhaniyaan le jaayenge with equal felicity because of his naturalness and a passion for the medium. It seemed he was more star material than actor material until he did Devdaas, Swades and Chak de india though he has done some offbeat films in the past. These three movies brought out a Shahrukh we have hitherto heard or seen on celluloid before. A Shah rukh who could present himself with poise and subtlety yet convey a myriad of emotions in every frame. A crowning glory indeed for a thoroughbred. & now by giving movis like Swadesh & Chak de India srk proves the fact that he has the skill to do evreything.

Okay, okay, okay here is what I think about both actors and what I have to mention about them also.

For all I know, Aamir Khan is the most handsomest bollywood actor I have ever seen in my life. Really, the first time I’ve seen him in cinema, I couldn’t imagine another bollywood actor who can possibly be even 1% better looking than his him. Ofcourse I know that most people are familiar with the phrase “Beauty is the eye of the beholder” but do what they not know is that Aamir Khan is half famous for his natural handsome moviestar looks. But yet there are many of those people out there that have said that Aamir is hot, and they are correct about that.

As for Shahruhk, I honestly think that many people, especially girls think that Shahruhk khan looks hot because of the false statement that he is BIG STAR. And that’s something they should think, think, and think about and say which actor Aamir Khan they think is hot.

I know the question of whether Aamir Khan or Shahruhk Khan is hot, but it is another reason to why many people in the world think Shahruhk Khan is not only better than Aamir Khan but is even worst, they think that he is the King of Bollywood. Come on, how many people have ever favored Shahruhk Khan without mentioning how oh so hot he is? Not so many. Practically everyone love to say that Shahruhk Khan is hot and it’s typically the first thing that comes to people’s minds when they see the actor.

As for personaliy and talent, Aamir Khan has always done films with different actresses. Why? Because Aamir looks good pairing up with bollywood actress. He makes any actress feel comfortable and worth it when working together. No wonder all of his films are so good. Aamir Khan has a funny and outgoing personality when talking to people. However to some of the people who have not yet noticed, Shahruhk Khan seems to bug Aamir Khan alot and Aamir needs to snap hit and put that bug inside a trap and let it out in where it belongs, in the wild.

No one repeats Aamir khan in their next movie because he is not worth it. Even his own cousin (Mansoor Khan) don’t want Aamir.

Aamir take credits from talented directors. whenever someone comes to him with a script of good movie, he plays dirty mind games and takes all the credit. (i.e. TZP, he stole the script, screenplay and whole movie from Amol Gupte of TZP and credit movie on his name. The truth is Amol Gupte is the man behind TZP. It was his idea, his story, his screenplay and everything was his. AAmir was just an actor. Amol Gupte is and was working for dyslexic children. Aamir just took the credit, earned money and moved on. He forgot about those dyslexic Amol is working for.

I think Shahrukh is the one who has the courage to take the risks of doing a movie having weak scripts and generate money out of it through his strong presentation capability. Amir always works on the movies that have strong plots. It is true that Amir performs well on those plots. But still Shahrukh could also do so if he had worked on those plots. From SWADES we can easily understand that Shahrukh do have the capability to act strongly. But Shahrukh generally prefers to act on the movies that have more commercial value. And Amir prefers to work on the movies that have more artistic value. But both are fine actors. So it is better not to compare.

I honestly also think that Aamir is a far better actor then Shahruhk because Aamir has more films nominated to Oscars than Shahruhk. Its a point there I’m telling you. If Shahruhk is a better actor..then why can’t he beat Aamir with atleast showing up for the Oscar ceremonies? After watching Ghajini, I was blown away by Aamir Khan’s acting. He’s just amazing. I fell in love with him after watching this film. I felt like I was in the film. Great story, superb acting. Its a shame he doesnt get much credit as SRK does. I think SRK gets tooo much credit. When I watched RNBDJ It was an ok film. I mean his acting is always the same in every other film. I seen SRK in person, nothing special about him,. His a good actor, but not better then Aamir Khan. I think people like SRK are popular only bcuz media has made him that way. Aamir khan is so humble and down to earth… SRK you can see is just a fake!! Aamir Khan all the way!!

Aamir khan’s films have great stories and decent songs. Shahruk’s films have good stories but not as good as Aamir’s films. However, I’ve noticed that Shahruhk has the potential to act very sensational in front of the camera whereareas is compared nothing to Aamir’s acting. I mean Aamir is a good actor but he Shahruhk is just too good. However, Aamir can act in any role he’s given which is what makes him a really good actor also. Sometimes, both actors are too good to manipulate one of them. But Aamir looks way better than Shahruhk,…Aamir’s smile is indeed gorgeous!

Aamir copies of some of acts that his fellow actors and competitors do in their past movies….In fact, not to be rude or what not, it was rumored that Aamir copied some scenes and duplicted some dialogues from other actors and used them his self-made films like Tare Zamen Par..which he acted pretty good I feel………But Aamir has talent that can be compared to very few of the other Bollywood actors…for example, Aamir acts way better than Sunil Shetty and Bobby Deol if you know what I mean….Bobby acts like he’s a littel drunk or whatever…watch his first film “Barsaat” and you’ll see that Aamir can act way better than that….a thousand times more…..

But is Aamir better than Shahruhk????? in some ways, yes.

Aamir can act in almost any role he is given..that is part of acting….Aamir may be so good at acting in songs and whatever…but he is very excellent in dialogues and showing feelings….He looks very cute when he acts very serious though..

i agree srk became a superstar only after ddlj….but therez no big deal in becoming a superstar… aaj kal log ranbir ko bhi superstar keh rahe hai
the big deal is in maintaining the superstar status for more than a decade and still continuing

Adi(post ddlj) takes only srk for his projects cause he himself knows no other actor can sell romance even half as well as srk does
and same goes for kjo..infact under kjo`s production house both the non srk films-kaal,dostana failed to achieve hit status whereas in srk`s case even a highly controversial film like kank managed atbb status in overseas and hit in india

now when it comes to YRF production house

i think aamir khan is the best in bollywood today, i do not know where to start and how to start because he is a versatile actor, see his performance in his movies, i dot not hate shahrukh but only thing which makes me uncomfortable every time when i see his movies that he just does love stories he needs some change now, he loves to sing a song with his heroin around the trees well come on yaar, he was good in darr and pardes and devdas because he did some different roles in those movies, right now he is 44 and he is getting old if he does not do different roles now it would not be possible for him to do the same love stories 4 years from now and then he would not be able to do chalanging roles and i realy like one thing about aamir that he changes himself according to the character, see his hairstayle which is diferent in every movie since sarfrosh and on other hand shahruch in main hoon na he played a major or sipahi role and he did not even cut his hair for that and on top of that he was trying to become keanu reaves from matrix in the climax of that movie well cut the crap yaar how can anyone chase a van with the bloody rikshaw, it should not be like this, being an actor you should be ready for everything for evey change, aamir and shahruch they both have the same sirname, same khan sirname wont make you good actor MR. I think Aamir is fine actor who really puts a lot of effort in the roles he does. All of the movies that I watched for both ARK and Aamir I find Aamir looks more natural in his roles. both are good actors,amir is good actor and srk is also good actor,both have achieved more name name and fame consquenly,but Srk is good Father and Good Husband,He is not a polygamy,as like amir.So,through my view,Srk is not a good actor but he is also a good human being.So he is best than Amir.

amir is far more better actor than all other actors in bollywood including srk and big b, because all other actors are just working for money and fame, no one thinks of good films with good message. amir khan is the only actor who can give a correct direction to bollywood

i go through most of your mails and it seems that most of the guys are running a campaighn against shahrukh.
Let me tell you some interesting facts about shahrukh.
He started his career as a TV artist (Aamir belongs to an affluent family and had connection with industry)
He is a self made person(He had no God father but Aamir had)
He is energetic and a workaholic.(Aamir do only one Film in a year, so no question of saying he is energetic)
He is a good orator(Aamir earlier had very few media presence)
He is a great communicator(Thats y he has such a long fan follwing list , even among the actors.)
He is a great marketeer. Earlier no actor was such a Big brand name as Shahrukh did. He started dancing in ceremonies as he always says that he is an entertainer first.and we all know being a professional people work for money.If somebody doesnt do that it doesnt mean that one who is doing is wrong
He never ever had any extra marital affairs(AAmir had)
He is always loved by his co -stars
He works with the best directors ,producers because he maintains the relationship(Yash Chopra, Karan Johar)
He always encourages Young generation(please go through his media interviews)
He got the maximum awards(although aamir dont takes but Think y?).Some will say he dont trust the awards but those who gets they do trust.
He is a complete family man.
He sounds egoist but most of the time he says it in humour. Its Aamir First who compared Shahrukh with a dog. Do u guys feels Aamir sud do that?
Although Aamir is also a great actor and he also has his own style.We cannot compare his work with shahrukh nor shahrukhs with AAmir.
He has a maximum fan following(record membership on Twitter Recently)
He is compared with the Legend Amitabh Bachhan but not AAmir) question is not that he is like Amitabh or not but the answer is that he is compared with Amitabh.
Since Shahrukhs entry in the bollywood he always had his Charisma .He gave a new way to the Indian Film industry by marketing Himself. If Lakshmi Mittal gives him Money on His Sons marraige for Dancing then whats wrong in it.I think entertaining people is his profession.
