Shah Rukh Khan’s Generosity to Karan Johar

Karan Johar has decided not to let his production We Are Family clash with Salman Khan’s Dabangg because Shah Rukh Khan advised Karan to avert the clash.

Apparently Shah Rukh felt doubly protective towards We Are Family since it involves two of his closest friends Karan and Kajol. In fact, when Shah Rukh came to know that Kajol was expecting, he went out of his way to accommodate his dates for Kareena in Ra.1 with We Are Family.

Peepli’s Natha Wants To Meet Big B

It has been reported that the young director of Peepli Live, Anusha Rizvi is quite nervous. This is her directorial debut and the movie is a dark comedy on the increasing breach between rural and urban lives.

Her anxiety is coordinated by that of Omkar Das Manikpuri from Brindanagar village in Chhattisgarh. He is none other than the lead actor of the movie, who wants the movie to do well at the box-office so that he can go ahead and shake hands with his idol, Amitabh Bachchan, the Bollywood legend.

Manikpuri plays the role of Natha in Peepli Live. The movie is slated for release on this 13th August. Manikpuri hopes that the Big B would come at the premier of the movie.

He says that it is his long-cherished dream to shake hands with Big B. He also said that Aamir Khan had arranged his meeting with the Love Aaj Kal heroine, Deepika Padukone and she was nice to him.

Aamir Khan has got several `thank you` letters from over 500 villages that are named ‘Peepli’ for making their name famous, in his forthcoming production called Peepli Live.

Salman Khan Helps Bring Out The Painter in Sonakshi Sinha

Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha are witnessing a lot of interesting incidents happening on the sets of the upcoming Dabangg. One such incident led the lead actress Sonakshi Sinha to discover the painter in her.

Sonakshi took to paint brush and canvas. All thanks to Bollywood closet painter Salman Khan who taught the lass to get out of her comfort zone and move beyond sketching.

“I’ve done fashion designing, so I knew how to sketch. Using the paintbrush was something I dreaded. But Salman helped me overcome this fear and taught me to paint”, confirms Sonakshi

Sonakshi whose first painting was a woman with a cross has impressed Salman Khan highly with her initial attempt. Being a quick learner Sonakshi painted much on the lines of Salman’s style.

“I’ve incorporated a lot of his (Salman’s) style into mine .The day I will be able to put my own ideas on canvas my painting will look different from his” adds Sonakshi

Sonam Kapoor Euphoric Over Aisha

Sonam left for Toronto on Sunday night. But not before expressing her happiness over the encouraging opening of Aisha. “I feel like a hero! I feel I’m shouldering the film. It’s daunting to know that heroes get an opening at the box office, and then you see my film get an opening! If I may say so, Aisha got a very decent opening. In any case it’s not very big-budgeted film.”

The entire budget seems to have gone into Sonam’s clothes. “Arrey, but I wore a lot of my own clothes from my wardrobe! And those are bought with my own money. Do you know I haven’t taken any money from my dad from the age of 18. Plus, there were around 70 designers who offered us clothes. We put together clothes, shoes, bags from what we were offered. We mix n’ matched from what was sent to us.”
