Neha Dhupia at Channel V Movie Launch

Channel V launched India’s first ever live bollywood movie, Andaz Apna Very Hatke. The movie will be scripted, directed and produced by Channel V, and would release on the same date of its production. Neha Dhupia made the launch even more exciting by posing for the cameras in a red hot outfit.

I don’t know what Channel V is up to, but I’m sure that they would have a bunch of jobless (and talentless) actors in the movie. Probably they are planning to cast their super-irritating VJs, Lola Kutty and Juhi.

Kareena Kapoor at boutique launch

Another boutique launch, and another set of bollywood celebs visit to cut the ribbon. When you get Kareena Kapoor to do the job, it definitely makes headlines. I must say, money well spent. It was a launch of Shobha Asar’s boutique. I guess she must be some socialite who has loads of money to waste.

Accompanying Kareena was Anupama Varma. I know you don’t even care to know who Anupama is because nobody has ever cared. Since I try to watch all bollywood movies (I know I’m stupid), I remember her in some movie with Aftab. Anyway, why waste time on her. SRK and Preity at IPL Auction Meet

Shahrukh Khan and Preity Zinta were at the IPL auction meet to bid for the players. Both the Bollywood stars are already the proud owners of IPL teams Kolkata (Shahrukh Khan) and Mohali (Preity Zinta). Shahrukh Khan and Preity Zinta bided real smart to get some of the most outstanding names from the world of international cricket.

It seems that King Khan has sworn not to stop after the success of Om Shanti Om. The kind of money he has invested in this venture is shocking. I have no idea from where did he get all that money from. Agreed that Juhi Chawla’s husband, Jai Mehta, is also involved, but over $75.09 million? For the sake of Shahrukh Khan I hope things go right, or else SRK would end up just like Amitabh Bachchan. I’m referring to the Miss World contest Big B tried to organize which went horribly wrong.

We know that Preity Zinta does not have that much money and she was just representing her boyfriend, Ness Wadia. Probably the Wadias thought that they needed some glamour for their new venture.

There are other big names like Mukesh Ambani and Vijay Mallya who bought Mumbai and Bangalore, but they have so much money in their bank accounts that it would hardly matter if anything goes wrong.

Ayesha Takia is an Alien

BH reports that Ayesha Takia would be soon playing an Alien for the upcoming movie Jaane Kahan Se Aai Hai opposite Ritesh Deskhmukh. The movie would be directed by Milap Zaveri who has an excellent track record (Heyy Babyy, Masti, Jhankaar Beats, and Kaante) as a writer. This would be his first movie as a director. Jaane Kahan Se Aai Hai would also feature Ruslaan Mumtaz who was seen in MP3. Milap Zaveri says, “There are lot of love stories between rich and poor, caste and creed but nothing that is out of the world. So, I came up with a twist to the popular concept of ‘Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus’. I kept the man from Earth and the Woman from Venus”

Huh? Has Ayesha Takia gone so out of shape that they have decided to cast her as an alien? We do find some similarities between Jadoo of Koi Milgaya and Ayesha, but this is going too far (or maybe not?). Probably they did not want to spend truck loads of money on special effects, so have opted for something cheaper. Looking at the way Ayesha’s carrier is heading, poor girl must be happy to play anything. And why is Ritesh from earth? More than Ayesha, he looks perfectly like an alien. Milap Zaveri should stick to the original saying and cast Ritesh as an alien from mars… So that we can have the first love story of aliens set in the solar system. Who says bollywood is not innovative and copies from Hollywood? Damn, we don’t watch all Hollywood movies; probably even this is some rip-off.

Priyanka chopra at Sophia’s Polytechnic’s fashion show

Priyanka chopra was seen at Sophia’s Polytechnic’s fashion show looking hot as ever. IT reports that she was accompanied by her forthcoming movie (Fashion) director Madhur Bhandarkar, and also walked the ramp with him.

A source close to the movie reveals that Priyanka Chopra has also taken up the job of a dress designer for the movie.

Maybe she wants to prove to the world that she is not just a dumb glamour doll.

Okay Priyanka, you can be the next Neeta Lulla. By the way, nice move; what if all of a sudden your movies begin to flop. At least you don’t have to perform item numbers in clubs like what Amrita Arora is doing for living.

Sameera Reddy was seen in a red hot outfit at a Mauj event in Mumbai.

If you are one of those who watch only popular movies, then ‘Sameera Reddy’ would not ring any bells. Let’s see whether we know about her. She is the star of various mega flops like Musafir, Fool N Final, and the movie opposite Sohail Khan which even we don’t remember the name. As if anyone cares! Since everyone is crazy to see her on big screen, Sameera would be next seen in a bollywood thriller, RACE, sharing screen space with Katrina Kaif and Bipasha Basu. Watching the title song promo, Sameera, we know how much of screen real estate is allocated to you.
