Like I said earlier, nothing can compete with Cricket and that’s exactly what has happened with IPL and Paanchvi Pass. Although Paanchvi Pass has the country’s biggest star Shahrukh Khan, no way it can match the craze IPL has generated. Sony guys knew this and have aptly decided to start their Salman Khan starrer show Dus Ka Dum after the end of IPL. It’s a win-win situation for Sony because they got to publicize the show on a full throttle during the telecast of IPL and there is no big competition in coming months as Indian Idol, Saregamapa and Voice of India are scheduled to start much later.

Considering that SEL had nothing to do for the past few months except this album, one would think it would think that it will be out of this world good. But after listening to it, it turns out to be arguably the worst soundtrack from Yash Raj…..ever!
Pyaar Ke Liye (Shankar Mahadevan) - SEL try to take the easy way out with this one. This song would have perhaps been a nice complementary song later in the album. But as the first song it dissapoints so much that you quickly lose hope in the rest of the album. Cheap! Rating: 




Nihaal Ho Gayi (Shankar Mahadevan) - Another cheap song with minimum effort put in. Seems like SEL reached deep into their bank of musical rejects for this one. Since this is a Yash Raj film, this kind of crap is perfectly acceptable! Rating:
